Celebrating Celtic’s 1,000th Race Party!
There was a time, at 21:26, January 25, 2013, to be exact, when Celtic Race Party looked up at the moon and declared that he knew RaceClubs.com had a ban in the forums but asked if they had introduced a ban on winning races for certain stables?
He was advised by someone who prefers to remain anonymous that they wished that they could but they can’t because one thing that every trainer knows about RaceClubs.com is that they are 100% unbiased. He was also advised to re-assess his strategy in order to improve his game because his time could be put to better use training (and training again) and re-evaluating all his form rather than wasting his time in free races, which accounted for 69% of his races, because they didn’t offer the kind of rewards that he was looking for.
Well, he took some of that advice, but not all of it because free races still account for 60% of his races, but he’s also just celebrated his 1,000th win on RaceClubs.com. Clearly, he learnt something from running in all those free races because he’s winning of 15% of all his graded races. That coupled with £13,271.70 in earnings means he’s styled his way across the tracks to become a master stable.
If The Who can sing about “that deaf, dumb blind kid who plays a mean pinball”, and horses can talk then who better to sing about “that Irish lad who sure runs like the wind?” if not Nos Na Gaoithe, his top moneyspinner, who has racked up 26 wins out of 106 races to win over £1,063.40. His top winner, The Iceman, illustrates how Celtic Race Party has matured as a player by re-assessing his strategy according to his horse’s changing needs by moving him from Capped Level Weights into Rated races.
Successful players know that there are no constants when it comes to virtual horse racing. There is fluidity to the game that is constantly changing and one needs to adapt proactively in order to stay ahead of the pack. It has been argued that RaceClubs.com has raised the bar for virtual horse racing but the truth is that trainers have raised the bar for each other through their constant endeavours to maintain their competitive edge. This is not a bad thing because it is part of human nature and survival of the fittest.
Celtic Race Party is looking pretty fit after winning his 1,000th race- and we applaud him for raising the bar a little higher for a virtual horse racing community that thrives on competition!
Congratulations to you on your 1,000th win, Celtic Race Party!

Challenge Series Winners Share Their Secrets to Success!
Challenge Series Winners Share Their Secrets to Success!
Following the success of RaceClubs.com’s £78,000 Challenge Series for virtual horse racing enthusiasts, some of the winners decided to share the secrets behind their success to encourage more players to get involved in the most exciting and lucrative races in the virtual horse racing community.
Amber Fields said he was interested in virtual horse racing because he thought it would be fun as he was already interested in real horse racing. RaceClubs.com afforded him the opportunity to train and race his own horses to the extent where he now spends more time with his virtual horses than real ones. Even though he’s already won 7 Challenge Series races he admits he still gets nervous about his chances, but the thrill of winning is always a buzz for him. Amber Fields advises any new members to the virtual horse racing community to persevere because the game requires patience, even though he admits he’s not, and also to listen to as much advice as possible from top trainers if they’re kind enough to help you. He’s certainly a trainer anyone can trust and now he’s in a position where he can share the same knowledge he learnt with you if you join RaceClubs.comtoday.
Grove Vale Stables say’s he would encourage people to join RaceClubs.com because it is a great game if you put in the time and effort. It might be expensive to start but once your stable is up and running it will more than pay for itself. He likes to make a profit, and after winning £1,625 in the Classic Challenge Final Juvenile with his filly, Lily Grace, it’s safe to say that he’s doing okay. His total earnings at RaceClubs.com have amounted to £41,869 and he’s still excited about competing in more qualifiers this season. He already has his sight set on winning both the King George and Casesarewich Challenge Series races. If you’re thinking of joining the virtual horse racing community at RaceClubs.comthen Grove Vale Stables advises you not to run before you can walk because there is lots to learn about the game in order to play it strategically and profitably. There are loads of top people on here who are more than willing to help - and he is only an inbox message away from offering advice.
Liveoak Stables has won six Challenge Series since joining RaceClubs.comin 2005, including the Cesarewitch Challenge Final, The Oaks, St Leger Challenge Final and four Monthly League Challenges. He’s won over 7,000 races and £266,900 at RaceClubs.com. The legendary trainer admitted that he approached the game cautiously at first because he knew he had to learn about virtual horse racing and also competition. He advises new players to start claiming horses from more accomplished stables to study their training and racing patterns which is what he did because it gave him a deeper insight into how they played the game. He also advises new players to learn how to play the game first because even though he says the game is fun, he also adds that there are no easy pickings.
You couldn’t get better advice from Amber Fields, Grove Vale Stables and Liveoak Stables because all three trainers are in agreement that while there are no easy victories when it comes to virtual horse racing at RaceClubs.com, pretty much like real-life horse racing, if you apply yourself to mastering one of the most strategic and intellectually stimulating online horse racing games then the rewards are great.

Anniversaries of Members & Welcoming a New Member!
Anniversaries of Members & Welcoming a New Member!
Dolphish Stable celebrated his seventh anniversary by winning his 4,000th race. Considering his impressive 12% wins percentage and 41% for places he probably doesn’t need any congratulations in the forums because he gets enough of that every day in his races.
He joined RaceClubs.com’s virtual horse racing community thing in way back in 2007 and rapidly started racking up runs before becoming an advanced stable. His best horse by winnings is Harvey Warren, who won over £2,999.75, was no stranger in the WFA races before being retired in 2010, but not before contributing to 25% of Dolphish Stable’s earnings. Pulling in the wins is ‘Good Gone Bad’, who added 43 wins. What gets this veteran of virtual horse racing excited? It’s giving that special horse a name that he’s been saving been saving so that everyone will know that even before it’s been raced it’s got be a good horse, or at least people will think that with a name like that it had better be good!
Garston Valley is on the verge of collecting his first 500 Runs Award- a great event for any trainer. They joined RaceClubs.com in 2010 and have divided their time between learning the game in free races and competing in the graded races. His best horse by far was Blackbasalt, who has subsequently been retired, but contributed 16 wins and £94.90. Garston Valley has a very practical approach to virtual horse racing because he advises players to just play the game for what it: a game. On a more amusing note, when asked what is the one thing he would take with him to the dreaded hole at the bottom of the virtual horse racing valley, he said, “a ladder!”
Now, why hadn’t anyone else thought of that?
On a smaller scale, Kukkisstable joined the virtual horse racing community on Saturday, 11 May, 2013. He promptly competed in six graded races, placed in four and won just under £2.60. We hope this is the start of big things for Kukkisstable. Hopefully he will be in the same league as Dolphish Stable and Garston Valley by the same time next year. He looks like he’s off to a good start having claimed the highly covetable Ayer16- who has been claimed and trained by none other than The Chamberlaynes, The Mighty Stable, Partnership, Theshooterman and Forest View- talk about a filly with a history!
If you want to follow the success of his own horses, keep an eye out for his G3 filly: Paistetahti!
Congratulations on your milestone anniversaries of membership Dolphish Stable & Garston Valley- and welcome to RaceClubs.com, Kukkisstable!

Trainers making the news in the world of virtual horse racing.
Congratulations as Trawlers reaches 2,000 Wins!
We would love to know what Trawlers has been feeding his horses for the past two years because they’ve been running like they’re being fed a hi-octane diet of something that may possibly be contraband and pharmaceutical in nature.
Trawlers doesn’t even live up to his name because clearly he hasn’t been doing anything by half measures or even slowly. Within two years he has competed in over 9,890 races, won 2,000 and earned himself an impressive £52,091.65. There’s a strong possibility that he may win his first Challenge Series this season as Ruffian(BD), his top horse is who has earned him the most wins (54) and the highest earnings (£4,550.00), looks like a serious contender for this season’s Nunthorpe Sprint Qualifier 3Y F.
Great advice from Trawlers: Deciding what to do with your horses is the area of the game where skill is absolute, and RaceClubs.com would have no business in offering advice.
Carlile has reached 1,000 Wins and is now a Master Stable!
Carlile deserves a round of applause after recently graduating from Elite to Master Stable following his 1,000th win. He also did it shortly after the first anniversary of his membership on RaceClubs.com which makes his accomplishment even more memorable.
It turns out that living in a world surrounded by virtual Barneys works for Carlile. His 174 horses named Barney have helped him a healthy £13,975.00 over the past year. The best Barney of them all is Barney Blue Chip who has won over £1,337.70 and is positioned in 12th place in the Nunthorpe Sprint Final 3Y C - Gr 1Standings. He’s also going to be competing against another of Carlile’s horses, Harrisontheking. Barney Ice Bolt comes to the fore as Carlile top horse by wins with 24 wins.
Three Stables That Got Our Attention Today:
Sc Thunder Road celebrates his first year at RaceClubs.com with close to 200 wins and £1,855.75 in earnings. This advanced stable has advanced through the ranks quite nicely and it looks like he’s ready for his 500th win and a Challenge Series title.
The virtual horse racing community breathed a collective sigh of relieve when Hannon announced that he did not have the next La Gazza Ladra but just another 1400m Challenge Series runner. If there is a silver lining to Hannon’s great disappointment, this means that the next La Gazza Ladra is still waiting in the Sales Ring.
When the biggest trainer in the entire world of virtual horse racing is naming his horses after you then you must know that you are doing something right. Have you seen, or raced, against Frank The Crank, Frank Gone Missin, Frankenstein, Frank The Muscles, Franks Luck, Franky Boy (AUS), Frank Is King or Frank Vs Shotgun? All we can say is that imitation is the sincerest form of flattery- and that’s when you know that you must be doing something right!

Mother’s Surprise is £325.00 on RaceClubs.com. Everything for the woman who loves racing horses!

The first mother according to Greek mythology was Gaia, the earth mother who gave birth to herself, the universe and all mankind. She took it upon herself to divide the waters covering the earth, fill the earth with bounty and fill the sky with stars. Like Gaia, there is nothing our mothers wouldn’t do for us.
Your mother will take care of you from the cradle to the grave. She’ll give birth to you, make sure your partner does right by you and she’ll even babysit your children for you. She might not always get it right but you know she’s trying to do what is best for you. She’d probably even train your virtual horses for you, tell you which races are best for them and bake muffins for those nice jockeys that she likes to ride your horses.
Mother’s Day is celebrated internationally this Sunday, 12 May 2013. It was traditionally a Christian festival in the United Kingdom when children gave their mothers presents and cards but it gradually became more commercial when introduced to America. Julia Ward Howe introduced Mother’s Day in America while campaigning for women’s rights but Anna Jarvis really popularised Mother’s Day following the death of her mother- she would later become so disgusted by the commercialization that she would spend the rest of her life campaigning to make it less commercial.
Guess what? The Race Programmer is commercializing Mother’s Day by sponsoring five races with £65.00 each just for the virtual horse racing community. Those Mother’s Day races will give you an opportunity to celebrate the woman who give birth to you and the woman who gave birth to your children. You could make it even more special by inviting them to watch your horses winning these races in her honour. Afterwards you could take her out for lunch with your winnings or if you’re feeling really generous you could give them her something even more special- like her own stable for Mother’s day, complete with free horses, tack and beautifully designed silks!

Liveoak Stables picked the perfect time to join the virtual horse racing community at Raceclubs.com in 2005.
The Grade 2 race program had just been introduced, goings could be predicted with 99% accuracy up to four days in advance, the auto-trainer was no longer in the realm of science-fiction and trainers could train their horses beyond 95% on the day they bought them. They were different times compared to the modern conveniences of the 36th season.
The piece de resistance was Raceclubs.com’s great Hall Of Fame which was developed to honour the many exceptional trainers and horses that had set the standard for excellence in the community. This mammoth development could display the most distinguished trainers and horses by their wins, earnings and grade. It seems poetic that when Liveoak Stables joined Raceclubs.com the last thing on his mind was if he would make it into the hall of fame, and yet today, he is the fourth wealthiest trainer in the history of virtual horse racing and the third most successful trainer in term for wins as he’s just recently celebrated his 7,000th win!
Building Castles in the Sky on a Rock Solid Foundation!
Building Castles in the Sky on a Rock Solid Foundation
When Sky Castle Stables joined RaceClubs.com in November, 2006, the virtual horse racing community was undergoing some turbulent changes with the rise of monster horses and super-trainers who dominated the community from the auctions through to the Challenge Series.
If he had any ambitions of winning the Challenge Series when he joined RaceClubs.com or thought that he would be entering the Hall of Fame they were pie in the sky fantasies. It was a tough community to break into as a rookie, and even tougher if you thought you could squeeze your horses past the likes of Ken Allan`s Stable, Dallas1 or Andy Hargie, who were winning multiple Challenge Series races as effortlessly as beating a barrier horse. WG Racing’s La Gazza Ladra was the site’s top horse who instilled fear and awe in everyone who faced him in a race.
Sky Castle was undeterred about making a success of his stable at Raceclubs.com. He bought a few horses and claimed a few, even dipping into the auctions to pick up a few stronger horses to round off his stable. He even went as far as paying the supplementary fee for one but that never panned out as well as he may have hoped but clearly he was going to take on the competitive world virtual horse racing on his own terms. Within thirty days he had competed in 212 races and won a tidy sum of £68.25. It wasn’t an earth shattering entry into the community but it was an admirable one for a rookie who took a chance in all the right places but erred on the side of cautiousness about when it came to managing his stable.
The following season Sky Castle took his stable into overdrive as he competed in 1,690 races, winning 12% of them and earning himself a very impressive £8,094.45. He also placed 4th in the Sprinters Challenge Final Juvenile C. Sky Castle had a definite goal of winning a Challenge Series. He competed in 45 Challenge Series races before winning his first one in the Stayers Challenge Final Juvenile C on Sky Flash in March, 2008. Once the seal was broken there was no stopping him from building his castle in the sky- and on a very firm foundation.
Fast forward five years later and he has 65 Challenge Series titles to his name, which is the highest number of Challenge Series races won by anyone in the virtual horse racing community. He’s not only a virtual horse racing virtuoso but also a prolific runner. He’s competed in 767 Challenge races, 10,078 Qualifiers and 35,500 Graded races. He’s also a virtual horse racing millionaire having won US$1,123,220 (£730,093.00) but recently he just celebrated another major milestone as he won his 9,000th race on RaceClubs.com.
Despite the impressive statistics and earnings supporting the man who’s overtaken the greatest trainers of yesteryear to become the one of the greatest trainers today in his own right is someone whose character is above reproach, highly regarded for his knowledge and respected for his willingness to share his experience with the community.
When Sky Castle Stables joined RaceClubs.com in 2008 he was competing against the most competitive players in the history of virtual horse racing. Today he has increased the level of competition to legendary status but he made it look effortless enough to inspire anyone to follow in his footsteps. Congratulations on achieving your 9,000 wins, Sky Castle Stables. RaceClubs.com will be cheering you all the way until your cross the finish line of your 10,000th win.

Bittersweet victory as Black Caviar retires from active racing!
Bittersweet victory as Black Caviar retires from active racing
The world and the virtual horse racing community cheered as Black Caviar won her 25th consecutive race but it was tinged with regret as it also signaled an end to her uncontested racing career as she’s been retired to breed lots of little Black Caviars!
With three cheers and plenty of tears, racing has bid farewell to world champion sprinter Black Caviar. The glamour mare, unbeaten in 25 career starts including an Australian record of 15 Group 1s, stole the limelight as usual as she paraded before 10,000 fans at her home turf at Caulfield.
Race jockey Luke Nolen, wearing the famous salmon and black spots for the last time (they are being retired along with the champ), rode her for the last time as she sported a saddlecloth bearing BC25. Trainer Peter Moody watched her every move alongside the owners as Black Caviar evoked spontaneous applause when she entered the mounting yard before cantering up and down the length of the straight.
Moody said: “She looks better than when she came in and her last win was better than her first – this is how a champion should go out.’’
He said he was proud so many people had enjoyed her career and attended on Saturday to farewell “my little girl’’. Before the winner of $8 million strutted her stuff for the last time, Moody stood chatting with Tony Santic, owner of racing’s previous superstar Makybe Diva who won three consecutive Melbourne Cups.
Fans clamoured five deep to grab farewell photos when Black Caviar was guided into the parade ring at the back of the track by constant companion, strapper Donna Fisher, at 1pm. The super mare obliged, stopping to be patted and pose for photos, seemingly fully aware she was the centre of attention.
Looking fit and relaxed, the mare they call Nelly wore a rug that read “Farewell Black Caviar, Thanks For The Memories’’. As her appearance in the mounting yard at 1.55pm neared, fans continued to pour into the track for the occasion.
Surprisingly, despite Caulfield being her home for the past four years, Black Caviar has raced at The Heath only four times, winning the Group 1 Orr Stakes at her only trip over 1400m, the Group 2 Schillaci Stakes twice and the Listed Blue Sapphire Stakes in 2009.
Black Caviar has left an indelible mark on all of these races. If you were lucky enough to see her win them, then you would have been lucky enough to have been part of history in the making!

Black Caviar may have retired from active racing but the world hasn’t see the last of her yet, and hopefully we’ll see her prodigies racing at the same events where she make a name for herself. The next question to ask is: Who has the Black Caviar of virtual horse racing at RaceClubs.com? The RaceClubs.com Team

How many of these great trainers do you remember from Raceclubs.com?
